Hello! My name is A.L. Davidson, and I'm known on the internet as MaybeMockingbird! I specialize in genre-blending stories, tales of heartwarming and horrifying romance, and the coziest sci-fi and urban fantasies you’ll find this side of the galaxy!

I love writing narratives that focus on themes involving ghosts, grief, isolation, queerness, eco-horror, space exploration, disability rep, and the human condition.

I'm a 2023 Indie Ink, Queer Indie, BBNYA, and Pushcart Prize nominee, and a 2024 Small Spec Awards and Indie Ink award nominee, as well as a finalist in the first ever Inkies Awards on Tapas for Favorite Community Novel in 2024.

I am best known for my slightly popular, cozy PNR romance web novel, The Night Farm, which is available to read on Patreon and Tapas. I have several horrormance titles available, and a handful of web novels, all of which feature queer and disabled characters. I'm most active on Patreon, where I upload new bookish goodness on a regular basis!
